New slot picker with support for flexible slots and a new time and place editor.

New slot picker

After a few weeks of trials and fixes, the new slot picker is now ready for use. It now supports flexible slots and has the month calendar built in as part of the slot picker.

The new slot picker can be enabled under admin > experiment if you want to try it right away. I will phase it in for facilities over the coming weeks.

Once the new slot picker is enabled, you can choose under admin > rental > settings whether you want the day or the month calendar as the default.

New time and place editor

A new time and place editor now supports more of the advanced features of time and place, such as week criteria, exception dates and the like. It also supports half-hour slots (when the new slot picker is enabled).

Changed meaning of time notation

With the new slot picker and editor, clock times are now 4 digits and mean from when the slot starts until the slot ends. What could previously be written as 08-10 (for a three-hour period) is now written as 0800-1100. The system will still support the old format for backwards compatibility

Updated documentation

The documentation pages for rental had at one point disappeared entirely. They are now back and updated with information about the new slot picker and the time and place editor.
